Throtex Stormwind, Druid of the Holy Loincloth is here, waiting to tell you about rolling a kick ass Arctic character.
Throtex tells you, "I'm sorry, but right now I don't know too much about rolling characters because the experienced HS MUDders haven't sent me any info yet, but I'll tell you what I do know. In Arctic, first level characters don't have the ir stats rolled yet. You will have to get your character to level two before you can tell if you've got a good character. Once at level two there are ways to estimate your stats, but it's important to remember that you aren't going to get 23's in every stat. You should only be concerned with the stats that matter for your class. Warriors need high strength and constitution, Mages need high intelligence, Clerics and Druids need high intelligence and wisdom, and thieves need high dexterity.

Strength: Go to the Solace Bar and Grille and buy as many beer barrels as you can carry.
Three barrels: great.
Two barrels: so-so.
One barrel: reroll.

Intelligence: I only know the rule of thumb for mages: stand in a non-mem room and memorize all three spells. If your mem time is:
2 tics: great.
3 tics: so-so.
4+ tics: reroll.

Wisdom: This estimation is based on the number of level one spell slots your cleric or druid has at level two.
4 slots: great.
3 slots: so-so.
1 or 2 slots: reroll.

Constitution: You estimate your constition by watching how many hit points you gain when you go up a level.I don't know these values for certain but it's something like:
20 hp gain: great.
17-19 hp gain: so-so.
16- hp gain: reroll.

Dexterity: Not sure if there is one for this. Probably based on how often you get hit or something.

Charisma: Beats me.
